The Background of the Business
N&P (Whitton) Ltd has been a key figure in the UK manufacturing sector and has serviced a wide customer base for over 40 years. N&P today are located in Poyle industrial estate, Colnbrook, Slough, right off the M25 on J14.
Michael E Press started as an apprenticeship under his father Peter Press in 1968 only eighteen years after N&P was founded. During the next 10 years they were making tooling for Hotpoint's white goods, Rolls Royce interior and exterior mouldings and Securion manufacturing (car seat belts, reflector trailer board lights). They also manufactured for many other blue-chip companies.
N&P (Whitton) Ltd was originated in 1984 by Michael Press and his wife Jenny and the company has been at the forefront of technical mould making and moulding techniques ever since. Creating countless partnerships and friendships on the way, one very important relationships we have built over the years is with Raj and Ajit. We have a very extensive knowledge of Thermoplastics and have manufactured for many industries including aerospace, automotive, POP, defence and high street retail.
We own a wide range of Tools that enable us to manufacture and modify projects.
Specialising in insert moulding, producing four types of railway parts known as fishplates. We incapsulate 1000 mm and 500 mm steel billets with a specially designed Nylon 6 plastic material.
We have designed new collecting units for the NSPCC and most of the major charitable organisations in the U.K.

Michael also has expertise in formulating registered design and patenting products for customers who wish to protect their ideas and inventions. He has imagined and produced a huge range of projects for N&P which some can be seen in projects button below or in the navigation bar.
Michael F Press, whose background is in management and accounting, recently begun his apprenticeship under Michael E Press to carry on the family tradition. Bringing the company into the 21st century and opening new doors for potential partnerships to be made.
The tool making and designs for many tools is set to continue, along with the legacy of the Press name, long into the future.....
